Results from Loughborough BUTTS last week are available - apologies for the delay! Worth reading, as we performed very well and brought home a good stash of medals. Happy Shooting!
Ladies and Gentlemen here is the long overdue summary of fantastic events at Loughborough BUTTs. Firstly starting with the medal positions... 2nd Experienced Gent - David Longworth - 568, 33, 60 3rd Experienced Gent - Marc Tamlyn - 566, 35, 60 1st Experience Lady - Hayley Boot - 526, 14, 60 1st Novice Gents - James Dunbar - 488, 59, 12 2nd Novice Gent - Matthew Langton - 486, 57, 13 1st Barebow - Annie White - 455, 60, 5 and the team members in score order Experience - 2nd Place: David Longworth Marc Tamlyn Hayley Boot David Timmins Novice - 2nd Place: James Dunbar Matthew Langton Conagh Laslett James Baker Special congratulations must go out to Marc Tamlyn for his first medal winning performance in the league and to James Dunbar and Matthew Langton for their first medals also, and Hayley for her first BUTTS Gold. And now to the more important fixture... the boat race... Oxford fielded its strongest team in centuries.. possibly even millennia.. consisting of Stroke - David Longworth 3rd - Rob Woolley 2nd - James Dunbar Bow - Marc Tamlyn but unfortunately despite a superb and indeed Oxford record breaking performance the team came in second, mainly due to a sneaky Warwick who came in first simply by fielding a sub 3 seconder for two pints.... despicable. Well that about wraps everything up. A final plea for people who have not yet emailed me/Marc their scores to do so...now. |
