Read more... for this week's notices in full. In brief, though: White arrow assessments will continue this week. Oxford BUTTS is on Sat 6th week (21 Nov) and Nottingham BUTTS is on Sun 8th week (29 Nov). If you would like to compete, you must shoot a Portsmouth score and submit it to Marc ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for team selection. There's also a link to a questionnaire after the jump, too. On another note, Christmas drinks tickets will go on sale soon, for our black tie social in 8th week. More details will follow once location and time are confirmed. Good luck for all your white arrows, and happy shooting! 1 - Sessions Session times are as usual this week. (Though apologies to those of you who turned up to yesterdeay's evening session to find that it had the official and not the earlier start time.) I have also taken note that at least one person forgot about last week's session cancellation. In the future I shall send out a reminder about session cancellations on the day, as well as in the weekly e-mail. 2 - White Arrow Assessors Experienced archers: MASSIVE thanks to all of you who came and helped with the novices' white arrow assessments on Tuesday. You made it very simple and stress free. We're doing more today (2-4.30pm) and on Friday morning (7-8.30am), so please come along to help out. It's really simple and quick, but I would like a minimum of 7 people there to help today just for the sake of efficiency. Once they're all done you'll be allowed to shoot as well, so the more of you who turn up, the quicker it'll be and the more practice you'll get! 3 - A Reminder or Two Oxford BUTTS is coming up on 21st November (Saturday 6th Week) and Nottingham BUTTS on 29th November (Sunday at the start of 8th Week). If you would like to compete at either of these, you must shoot a Portsmouth and submit the score to Marc ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ). They'll both be loads of fun, so I urge you to get shooting. Also, we will be wanting helpers for Oxford BUTTS (setting up, packing away and the odd little bit of running in the middle), so if you can, please keep the day free, and let me know if you're available. 4 - Questionnaire This was sent ot me by a member of Derby University Archery Club: Hello Everyone I am in my third and final year on my Design Technology Course at Derby University. The following link is to a questionnaire that will help me find a product need in archery and to design a product best suited to fulfil that need: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=U7Mz3F_2bZOAz_2b6HlUPUYmYQ_3d_3d Please can you fill these questionnaires in by Monday 16th November, I assure you it will only take about five minutes to do.
